In the Vologda region started the week of medical examination

Week of awareness about the importance of medical examinations takes place throughout the country from 19 to 25 October. The Vologda region joined the action.

Vologjans are reminded that regular visits to doctors and health checks can identify many diseases, including cardiovascular and cancer at an early stage.

Citizens over 18 years of age can undergo medical examination for free. It is available once every three years. This year, persons born in 1987, 1990, 1993, 1993, 1999, 2002, 2005, 2008 are invited. Since 40 years of medical examination is held annually.

For other persons, an annual preventive examination is provided with a basic set of studies and specialist advice. The record is available through the "public services", the registry. The work is carried out within the framework of the national project “Long and active life”.
