In Vologda region will increase recruitment to medical colleges

From the next academic year, it is planned to increase the control numbers of admission to medical colleges in the Vologda region.

According to the results of the admission campaign of 2026, 689 students entered the Vologda, Cherepovets and Velikoustyug colleges. In 2027, it is planned to expand the recruitment and enroll 714 applicants. The number of places for freshmen will increase by 25.

Educational institutions train specialists in the areas of “Medicine” and “Nursing”. Support measures are in place in the region. Students can enter into a target contract. During the period of study, they receive an additional scholarship, and after graduation, they are paid salary supplements for three years.

Applicants can conclude a contract with medical organizations directly upon admission. Topical vacancies for targeted training are posted on the portal "Work in Russia".
