The highlands of the North Caucasus officially began preparations for the winter tourist season 2026/2027

The highlands of the North Caucasus have officially begun preparations for the winter tourist season 2026/2027. Last day, snowfalls covered the slopes of the popular resorts of Karachay-Cherkessia and North Ossetia, which caused an active response in the tourist community.
Social networks were filled with footage of snow-covered landscapes from Dombai and the Mamison all-season complex under construction. The first snow fell at altitudes above 2500 meters, creating a steady visual effect of the approaching winter and provoking early interest in booking a winter holiday.
The appearance of snow cover in late October is traditionally considered a reference point for outdoor enthusiasts. The ski clusters of the region have already switched to high readiness. A number of resorts in the Caucasus have announced the start of pre-booking services for the period of winter navigation.
Industry experts note that early snow has a positive effect on the dynamics of sales of tourist products. Caucasus resorts remain the leaders of domestic tourism due to the combination of natural and climatic conditions and the development of modern transport logistics.
Earlier it was reported that the resort in the KCR topped the rating of investment attractiveness of tourist SEZs of Russia.
