At the Yaroslavl tire plant earned new lines of assembly of passenger tires

Cordiant Holding launched two new passenger tire assembly lines at the Yaroslavl tire plant into trial operation. The equipment is designed to produce products with a landing diameter of 13 to 18 inches. The total investment of the holding in several projects of modernization of the enterprise exceeded 9 billion rubles.

The new lines began to be tested in September 2026. Now the plant continues commissioning, after which the equipment is planned to be transferred to industrial mode. Production complexes are equipped with a system of continuous quality control. According to the company, a trial batch of winter tires Cordiant Winter Drive 2 size 215/65 R16 successfully confirmed compliance with the established requirements.

The update also affected the release of all-metal cord freight tires. In 2025-2026, the company installed a new line of preparation of rubber mixtures and an automated dosing system for chemical components.

In addition, the plant received laboratory equipment for checking cord threads. According to the holding, it will reduce the duration of such tests by half.
