The topics of parking in the yards, targeted directions to medical schools, obtaining professions in the CPC were raised by representatives of the labor collective of the branch No. 3 “Minsk Silicate Products Plant” of OJSC “Belarusian Cement Plant” at a meeting with the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev on September 15, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

V. Kukharev spoke about the state of the construction industry of the city, in particular, the development of a new residential area of Green Bor and satellite cities. Theme of the metro: three stations of the green line are planned to be commissioned in 2028, and in parallel, in 2027, to begin construction of the ring line. He focused on the transition of public transport to electricity, repair of overpasses and improvement of transport logistics. He spoke about the social, medical and educational spheres, landscaping and improvement of the city.
The Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee congratulated all those present on the upcoming National Unity Day and spoke about the historical prerequisites of the holiday.
- This is a young but very important holiday for our country. And it is necessary to convey this idea to the younger generations, the youth. When a country is united, all together support each other and do everything to make it even better, stronger, and more beautiful. Therefore, it is very important for every Belarusian, said V. Kukharev.

Representatives of the labor collective asked the head of the city their questions. In particular, about the congestion of yard territories with personal transport.
- We approach this problem comprehensively. New parking lots are being built, parking lots are being created along the roads. To attract motorists to parking lots, we install electric charging stations there. There's a fight against junk. Now, when building new houses, the task is to create parking spaces along the perimeter of yard areas. The emergence of the fourth metro line will also make a big contribution. The ring will create an opportunity to abandon personal transport in favor of public transport. A metro station will be built in each district, which will allow you to get to any point of the city on it, Kukharev said.
The question was raised as to whether it is planned to increase enrolment in medical schools, as well as target areas in this area. V. Kukharev noted that over the past three years, the enrollment in medical colleges has actually doubled, and it will continue to grow. In order to get the target direction, you need to contact the college itself or a health care institution, where the training will take place in the future.

The team was interested in providing housing for employees of the enterprise who need to improve housing conditions. The Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee said that rental houses are planned annually in the city, so any enterprise can take part in their construction on a preliminary request. The company can also apply for the construction of its own housing employees.
When asked about obtaining working professions by high school students, V. Kukharev said that now this topic is being paid more and more attention. In recent years, the average score for admission to colleges has been growing steadily. In this regard, it is necessary to give young people who lack points the opportunity to obtain working qualifications at school. Therefore, the task is to expand the list of such specialties.
V. Kukharev was asked how urban transport will work on the new overpass, which will directly connect the Stone Hill with the residential area of Lebyazhy.
Minsktrans is currently working out routes that will go from Kamennaya Gorka to the Central District and back. Also, the optimization of existing routes will be made, the chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee said.

V. Kukharev also got acquainted with the material and technical base of the plant and products manufactured at the enterprise using the technology of construction 3-D printing with concrete.
