National Bank accepts applications for competition of scientific works among students and undergraduates

The National Bank invites students and undergraduates to participate in the annual competition of works on economic topics, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports with reference to the press service of the financial regulator.

The competition is aimed at developing the interest of young people in research activities in economic disciplines, as well as popularizing knowledge in the field of finance and economics. Both individual authors and collectives are allowed to participate.

The intellectual competition will be held in three rounds. At the first stage, the organizers will accept the works and check them for compliance with the established criteria. The second panel will determine up to 10 finalists. The final stage will be held at the National Bank, where the finalists will defend the works at the meeting of the expert council.

The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of 2 thousand BYN. Second and third place winners will be awarded the sums of 1.5 thousand BYN and 1 thousand BYN, respectively. Participants who reached the finals, but did not take prizes, will also not be left without encouragement - 500 BYN awards are provided for them. An important bonus for all finalists will be the opportunity to undergo an internship at the National Bank.

To participate in the competition, it is necessary to send an application, scientific work, as well as a report on checking the text for originality to the e-mail address konkurs@nbrb.by by October 26. Winners and winners will be announced no later than December 28.
