Minsk National Airport is ready to work in the cold season

Minsk National Airport and its branches have completed preparations for work in the autumn-winter period, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports with reference to the Minsk Airport Telegram channel.

The main goals of the events were to ensure the stable functioning of all infrastructure facilities in difficult weather conditions, as well as guaranteeing safety, regularity of flights and a high level of service for passengers.

The preparation included a number of key measures. Among them:

1. 1.preparation of the territories of the airfields Minsk-2, Orsha and Mogilev (branches), as well as buildings and structures;
2. 2.theoretical and practical training of employees of Minsk National Airport and its branches, repeated briefings and trainings related to work in the cold period;
3. 3.seasonal maintenance of radio-technical support of flights, light-signal equipment;
4. 4.maintenance of vehicles, special vehicles, apron mechanization and ground maintenance of aircraft;
5. 5.preparation for operation in the coming period of fire equipment, equipment and equipment, search and rescue equipment;
6. 6.formation of a sufficient supply of anti-icing liquids of all types and reagents for processing the flight field.

All planned activities have been successfully completed. The services of Minsk National Airport, Orsha and Mogilev branches are ready for the upcoming cold season.
