The national air carrier Belavia, together with the consolidator AeroBelService, launched a charter program from Minsk to the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc, the correspondent of the Minsk-News agency reports with reference to the Republican Union of Tourist Organizations.
The first flight took place on October 13. Unlike last year, when planes ran every 10-11 days, this season flights will be more regular and will be held twice a week: on Wednesdays (on Tuesday night) and Saturdays.
Flights are performed on the wide-body Airbus A330-200. The journey time takes about 9.5 hours. Passengers are available in both economy and business class.
The launch of the October program on Phu Quoc replaces Belavia flights to Nha Trang. In this city in the middle of autumn, the active holiday season ends, and the weather becomes less stable.
