On this day, Orthodox believers remember St. Pelagia of Antioch, who in her youth was a dancer, but after meeting Bishop Nonn accepted baptism and devoted her life to serving God. Also, on October 21, the memory of St. Tryphon Vyatsky, the founder of the Assumption Monastery, is honored.
