National Tourism Agency: Belarus promotes its tourism product through China’s ecosystems and travel platforms
Belarus promotes its national tourism product through China’s ecosystems and travel platforms, the deputy director of the National Tourism Agency said.

Belarus promotes its national tourism product through the ecosystems and travel platforms of China, Deputy Director of the National Tourism Agency (NAT) Denis Bezhok said during the Belarusian-Chinese tourism forum in Brest.

- In his speech at the forum, Denis Bezhok informed the event participants about the activities of the National Tourism Agency in the new status of a regulator coordinating state policy and the work of local authorities in the field of tourism. The deputy director of the national agency told about the creation of the state information system “Tourism”, planned for launch in early 2027. The nature of relations between Belarus and China in the field of tourism is built on the level of all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership, where tourism is considered not just as a business, but as a key tool of public diplomacy and humanitarian cooperation.

Denis Bezhok noted that the integration of Belarus into the digital ecosystems and travel platforms of China is positioned by the regulator as an important element in promoting the Belarusian tourist product in the Chinese market.
- Full entry into the digital environment of China is aimed at making Belarus as accessible and understandable as possible for Chinese tourists, he said.

For example, China’s largest travel aggregator Ctrip is used to accommodate package tours, book Belarusian hotels and promote air routes from Beijing, Xi’an and Urumqi. Belarusian tourism entities create official accounts on Xiaohongshu (RED), WeChat and Sina Weibo.
In September of this year, as part of a large-scale project of the National Tourism Agency with the assistance of the Embassy of Belarus in China, Chinese top bloggers with a total Internet audience of more than 50 million subscribers visited our country. All the content they create is streamed directly to the Douyin (TikTok), Weibo and Bilibili ecosystems, generating targeted interest from Chinese audiences.
