From October 16 to 18, the III International Scientific and Theological Conference entitled “The Concept of Alienation in Philosophy, Orthodox Theology and Western Theology” was held at the Pskov-Pechersk Theological Seminary. The conference was organized by the International Society of St. Gregory Palamas. This “MK in Pskov” reported in the press service of the Pskov diocese.
During the event, a meeting of the section “Hereseology and Sectarian Studies as an Interdisciplinary Discipline (History, Theology, Sociology, Psychiatry)” was held for the first time, at which topical issues within this problem field were considered.
The reports, which were announced at the plenary and breakout sessions, caused active discussion and polemics among those present.
