The Ministry of Internal Affairs explained the fastest procedure for verifying the authenticity of a passport – this allows the specialized service of the department, integrated with the portal of public services.

The official message clarifies that to start the procedure, the user will need to undergo authorization on the state portal. Next, in the search bar, you need to type the phrase “Check the validity of the passport” and go to the appropriate section. At the final stage, you should enter the series and number of the document, as well as the surname and name of its owner, and then send the formed request.

The Ministry stressed that this method is the easiest and most effective option for establishing the authenticity of the document. Experts noted that such verification is required not only by government agencies, but also by ordinary citizens. In particular, such a check is necessary for employment, registration of transactions with real estate, as well as for obtaining bank loans or loans.
