Not a sensation, but a regularity: V. Danilovich on why Belarusians value peace and tranquility

Belarus is the only country in the post-Soviet space that has not allowed armed conflicts. This opinion was expressed by Deputy Chairman of the Permanent Commission on Education, Culture and Science of the House of Representatives, Doctor of Historical Sciences Vyacheslav Danilovich, commenting on the results of a large-scale social research on the socio-economic development of Belarus.
V. Danilovich considers it absolutely natural that Belarusians are primarily proud of a peaceful and peaceful life in our country.
- This is a huge achievement of our national leader, Alexander Lukashenko, and all of us, the people who support his policy with word and deed. Despite the geopolitical storm in many countries of the world, Belarus, located at a geopolitical crossroads, remains peaceful and calm. And it's very expensive. I would also like to remind you that our country is the only one in the post-Soviet space that has not allowed armed conflicts and clashes.
According to the politician and scientist, the result of the purposeful creative development of our state and the fact that Belarus today is famous all over the world for the quality of food products, cleanliness and order of landscaped settlements.
- And this was noted by the absolute majority of participants in the sociological research, which was able to interest our society, Danilovich said. It is also worth noting the work of the domestic media, which consistently, originally and at the same time as accurately as possible brought information to millions of Belarusians about a large-scale project that accumulated the opinions of citizens from all regions of Belarus.
At the same time, V. Danilovich believes that the results obtained cannot be considered sensational.
- They only demonstrated that the state and society are looking in the same direction, and Belarusians understand, appreciate and respect what the state does for their own benefit and the welfare of their families. And clearly - with an eye to the future, and not only today.
The expert believes that one of the reasons for this unanimity of Belarusians is the fact that Belarus is one of the few truly sovereign states in Europe, which has been consistently and fundamentally pursuing a policy in the interests of the majority of its people, citizens, and not narrow elites, and especially not at the behest of outside.
