How Farmland creates industries on which human life depends

Nesvizh is a city where the past meets the future. Here is the heritage of the Radziwills, included in the UNESCO list. And here are the productions on which human life depends. Nesvizh is called the second pharmaceutical capital of Belarus.

Nesvizh district is small in area, but strategically important. A powerful pharmaceutical cluster is concentrated here. And it's not just about manufacturing drugs. More jobs, social programs, development of the territory. The industry occupies about 35% of the region's economy. And most importantly, behind each enterprise there are people on whose work the health and lives of thousands of patients depend.

Andrey Ratomsky, Chairman of the Nesvizh District Executive Committee: Today, in general, this industry is knowledge-intensive, it is, for example, the engine of development of the region. These are highly qualified personnel, who today also create the image of this region. Our enterprises are also still investing in the social sphere, building rental housing for their employees, that is, they are fully involved in the development of the region.

One of the flagships - the enterprise "Farmland" - in the rhythm of constant development: new sites are built, equipment is updated, technologies are mastered, new jobs appear. Full cycle: from the search for active molecules to mass release. Today, Farmland is among the four leading manufacturers and suppliers of medicines in the country. And it goes beyond that. The company is the only one in the country that produces enteral nutrition for weakened patients. Hemodialysis concentrates. Sets for the determination of antibodies, hormones, oncomarkers. And a special pride is the biological heart valve. This is a high-tech bioprosthesis for lifelong implantation. Thanks to him, Belarus became one of the seven world powers capable of creating their own heart valves. In modern conditions, this is not just an achievement, it is a matter of national security.

Olga Sizova, Deputy General Director for Foreign Economic Activities of Farmland: For 28 years, we have been producing safe and effective medicines that have won the trust of consumers. At the heart of "Farmland" is an invariable principle - to observe traditions, follow the best achievements, improve the health and quality of life of everyone. Today we produce 208 types of medicines, 18 of which have no analogues in our country.

Another point on the pharmaceutical map of Nesvizh is Daliompharma. The only full-cycle plant in Belarus for processing donor plasma. Immunoglobulin and albumin are produced here. The processing capacity is up to 300 tons of plasma per year. All stages - from fractionation to bottling - on one site. Advanced equipment and the strictest conditions: the plasma storage temperature is minus 30 degrees.

Victoria Kress, Deputy General Director for Commercial Activities of Daliompharma: Each bottle coming off the conveyor is the result of high-tech production, multi-stage quality control and labor of hundreds of specialists. We meet the needs of domestic healthcare, but also strengthen our position in the international pharmaceutical market. The geography of our supplies is constantly expanding.

Farmland and Daliompharma are private companies. But the principle is the same: work for the good of people. Behind each bottle, behind each package - the work of hundreds of specialists. And someone's life that goes on because of it. This is the main point of their work. And the main result.
