Three residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region have signed agreements for cryonization - freezing the brain after death in the hope of future resurrection using technology. This was told by Alexei Samykin, a specialist of the Russian transhumanist movement, who oversees the organization’s technological projects.

According to him, we are talking about young people, including students who came from the region to study. For the procedure, they chose one of the companies providing such services. The idea is to put your body or brain in liquid nitrogen and store it at extremely low temperatures. They believe that over time, science will learn how to bring people back to life in new bodies or transfer their identity to a digital format.

Samikin cited prices: cryonizing the body costs about 4-5 million rubles, saving the head or brain - 1.5-2 million. Customers from the Nizhny Novgorod region, he said, “certainly” there are in other companies. Now the organization has drawn up 30 agreements for future freezing, and 25 people have already undergone the procedure and are stored.
