Nizhny Novgorod became the “Family Capital of Russia-2027”

Nizhny Novgorod won the All-Russian competition and received the status of “Family Capital of Russia-2027”. This was reported by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin.

According to him, the region purposefully developed family policy and received high praise at the federal level. Nikitin thanked Tatiana Golikova and the Ministry of Labor of Russia for assessing the work. He noted that the competition was a serious test: the work of the region was evaluated according to dozens of criteria, and as a result, Nizhny Novgorod was recognized as the best among 60 cities.

The OSNOVA project played an important role, combining key family support measures: financial assistance, health and reproduction programs, digital services and the formation of a comfortable environment where family is the main value.
