Novgorod region will allocate 9 million rubles for accommodation of guests of the festival Dostoevsky

In the Novgorod region, preparations are continuing for the XXX International Festival of Theater Arts named after F. M. Dostoevsky, which will be held from October 29 to November 2, 2026. Events of the festival will be held in three cities of the region - Veliky Novgorod, Staraya Russa and Valdai.

About 9 million rubles will be allocated from the regional budget to provide accommodation for artists, official guests and organizers of the festival. The funds will be used to pay for hotel rooms and other accommodation formats.

An important feature of the anniversary festival will be the expansion of geography: Valdai will perform for the first time. According to the governor of the Novgorod region, the inclusion of the city in the program is an opportunity to further reveal the richness of traditions and the special atmosphere of the Novgorod land, to emphasize its cultural uniqueness.
