According to the investigation, the man paid with a card in stores and made transfers. The total amount of stolen funds amounted to more than 44 thousand rubles.
When sentencing, the court took into account that the man came guilty, helped the investigation, fully admitted guilt and repented. As a result, he was found guilty under paragraph 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, but was sentenced to a suspended sentence: 1 year 6 months of imprisonment with the same probationary period.
Meanwhile, for stealing money from a bank card, the law provides for several options for punishment: a fine - from 100 to 500 thousand rubles, forced labor - for up to 5 years. To them can be added restriction of liberty or deprivation of liberty for up to 6 years.
