Novosibirsk business faced with the disruption of shipments due to failures of “Yandex”
Entrepreneurs of Novosibirsk faced serious disruptions in the work of digital services after the attacks on data centers of Yandex. Due to technical problems, some companies are unable to process documents, conduct shipments and use work programs.
The problems affected cargo transportation, construction, education, advertising and other areas of business. An employee of one of the logistics companies said that due to the unavailability of the document processing program, trucks are idle in warehouses, and the shipment of goods is delayed.
Employees of the enterprise complain that it is impossible to issue documents, cars come for loading, and they cannot be loaded.
Tutors, photographers and online school staff also faced difficulties. Some have lost access to educational platforms, cloud storage and ad offices. At the same time, a direct link of all detected failures with damage to Yandex infrastructure has not yet been established.
The company confirmed that restoration work is ongoing. Some of the functions of Yandex 360 and Yandex Cloud remain limited. As a measure of support, existing customers were exempted from payment for relevant services until the end of October.
Earlier, MK in Novosibirsk reported that on October 14, residents of the region continued to face disruptions in the work of Yandex services after attacks on the company’s data centers.
