New rules for Internet providers may lead to an increase in tariffs in the Bryansk region
Earlier TelecomDaily predicted that in 2026 the Internet could rise by about 10%.

Tariffs for home Internet in Russia may increase to 30% due to new requirements for providers. This development was allowed by the General Director of the information and analytical agency TelecomDaily Denis Kuskov.
The Ministry is considering changing the rules of operation of telecom operators. Among the proposals are the introduction of paid licenses and the mandatory connection of providers to the system of operational-search activities (SORM).
According to Kuskov, the implementation of the new requirements will require additional costs from companies. If the costs are significant, operators can include them in the cost of services for subscribers. The specific size of the possible increase will depend on the final regulatory conditions.
Earlier TelecomDaily predicted that in 2026 the Internet could rise by about 10%. This forecast was made according to the results of the November survey of heads of Internet companies.
The additional financial burden may have a greater impact on smaller providers. According to the expert, some of them will have to merge with large operators or sell their business.
At the same time, Kuskov does not expect a sharp increase in tariffs in the near future. The cost of the licenses and the final terms of the new requirements have not yet been determined, so it is impossible to estimate their impact on prices.
