New schools, hospital - what other social facilities will be opened in Minsk

What important objects of social infrastructure will open in the capital said the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev in an interview with the newspaper “Evening Minsk” on the eve of the 959th anniversary of the city, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

According to V. Kukharev, at the end of this year it is planned to complete the construction of an infectious disease hospital – a very important and necessary facility not only for Minsk, but also for the country as a whole. Two new buildings are being built in the 6th City Clinical Hospital.

Forget it. Independence is being built by the polyclinic of the Minsk City Cancer Center. It is expected that the facility will work already in 2027. One of the buildings of the 2nd city clinical hospital is planned to be reconstructed to create an interdistrict diagnostic center, including for the detection of tumors of various localizations in the early stages.

In the capital will be three flagship centers of emergency medical care. They are organized on the basis of the Minsk Scientific and Practical Center of Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology, the City Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care, the 10th City Clinical Hospital. The meaning of the flagship medical centers is that Minsk residents receive emergency care as quickly and efficiently as possible. The reserves of the only functioning ambulance hospital are not endless.

In addition, two schools are currently under construction. One of them will be located in the residential area of Sokol, the other in the “Northern Coast”.
