New Egypt: Russians appreciated the resort of El Alamein
The Russians opened the Mediterranean in Egyptian. There is turquoise sea and white sand, but it was not without pitfalls.

Charters on the northern coast of Egypt launched only in late August, but the season turned out really hot. Tours sold out so quickly that some operators ran out of seats in September.
The direction attracted even those who had previously categorically refused to go to Egypt. Couples and families with children come here. The main magnet is wide beaches with white sand, azure water and gentle entrance to the sea. The climate here is milder than in Hurghada. Tourists choose premium "fives" (Rixos, JAZ) and live on "ultra all inclusive".
Pitfalls
1. Poor infrastructure. There is nowhere to walk behind the hotel fence, construction continues around.
2. Short season. Swim here from May to the end of October. Then the winds and waves begin.
3. There's no usual vibe. Fans of noisy promenades, bazaars and round-the-clock traffic outside the hotel will be bored.
In autumn, a three-day tour for two in the “four” with food will cost from 151,000 rubles. There are almost no seats left for October, writes ATOR.
Tour operators want to extend the program for next summer, but faced with an unexpected problem. It turns out that in the summer for rooms in El Alamein will have to compete fiercely with Europeans, who have long chosen this direction. Whether Russian companies will be able to buy the necessary volumes at adequate prices is still a big question.
