In Murmansk came the head crab vessel “Captain”, which was built at a Russian shipyard in the Far East. This was reported by the press service of the Antey group of companies.

This is the first-born of a series of eight modern crabbers that will join the fleet in the coming years. The ship traveled from Nakhodka to Murmansk for about 20 days. On the way, two storms met in the Kara Sea, but the Captain showed good seaworthiness.

Krabolov is equipped with advanced electronics and an integrated control system. It controls everything from trap sampling to product delivery. The vessel has cooling and oxygenation systems that keep the crab alive from the moment of catch until unloading.

Also, improved living conditions were created for the crew: spacious cabins, separate showers, satellite television and the Internet.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that in China launched a new vessel for Murmansk.
