November will be like a terrible dream. Forecasters gave a new forecast for the end of autumn

While residents of the country enjoyed unusually warm weather in September and early October, meteorologists are already preparing disappointing reports. The final of the fall of 2026 will be a real shock after the recent lull and will present much more severe trials.

As noted by the well-known meteorologist Evgeny Tishkovets, the volume of precipitation in a number of areas will not only break the average, but also approach long-term record. The element will not stint on unpleasant surprises: endless cold showers are waiting for us, smoothly flowing into snowfalls. But the most insidious enemy is the freezing rain. It will instantly turn highways and pedestrian areas into a dangerous skating rink, as well as create a critical load on power lines and utility facilities.

Analysts of weather services confirm this trend: residents of Central Russia, including the two capitals, will feel a sharp change in the first days of the month. Moscow will meet wet snow mixed with rain, and by mid-November cyclones will bring full snowdrifts. The sun will appear in the sky very rarely, and thermometers in some periods will drop to -10 degrees.

Experts unanimously urge not to postpone preparation for the vagaries of nature. Motorists urgently need to “re-shoot” cars, everyone else – to review the wardrobe in the direction of warmer clothes and regularly monitor storm warnings of local services. The idyll of the outgoing October will be replaced by a harsh reality, for which it is better to be prepared in advance.
