November will be like a terrible dream. Forecasters gave a new forecast for the end of autumn
The abnormal heat of September and October is replaced by severe tests. We understand what weather traps to expect Russians and how to properly prepare for the vagaries of nature.

The weather idyll of the first two autumn months is coming to an end. According to meteorologists, November 2026 will be the harshest and most unpredictable period of the season, in stark contrast to the recent warmth.
Leading meteorologist Yevgeny Tishkovets warns: the amount of precipitation in many regions will not just break the climate norm, but in some places will approach historical maximums. Nature will not stint on surprises: prolonged cold showers will be sharply replaced by snowfalls. Ice rain is a particular threat. They instantly turn roads and sidewalks into a dangerous rink, and also create a huge load on power lines and housing and communal services.
Detailed forecasts (including Gismeteo data) paint a similar picture for Central Russia. Moscow and St. Petersburg will feel the breath of winter in the first days of the month. In the capital, the first precipitation will fall in the form of wet snow with rain, and by mid-November, the nature of the weather will change to full snowfall. Sunny days in megacities will be critically small, and in some periods thermometers will drop to -10 ° C.
Safety experts strongly recommend not to delay training:
Motorists: in a timely manner "re-shoot" cars in winter tires and check the state of the battery.
Pedestrians: update the seasonal wardrobe and get comfortable shoes with non-slip soles.
• All residents: closely monitor storm warnings of local services and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The contrast with a cozy October will be as noticeable as possible. Ignore these signals of nature is not worth it - it is much calmer to meet the weather fully armed than to convulsively look for winter tires or medicines in the midst of the elements.
