“November and December will break all twenty-first-century scenarios.” Forecasters said what to prepare for

The 2026 final threatens to be a period of unprecedented meteorological instability in Russia. Climatologists state the breakdown of the usual seasonal models: a smooth transition from autumn to winter will be replaced by the chaotic struggle of the Arctic cold and warm southern cyclones.

In November, Central Russia expects prolonged rains, followed by frosts up to -5 ° C and wet snow. In the Northwest, storm gusts of wind up to 20 m / s and early formation of snow cover are predicted.

December will be full of contrasts. While the Urals and Siberia are constrained by 30-degree frost, the European part of the country can survive anomalous thaws up to +5 ° C. The Far East, including Vladivostok, will face abrupt temperature changes, which guarantees large-scale icing of roads and communications. The southern regions will bathe in heat up to +15 ° C, but the Caucasus is threatened by heavy snowfall and an increase in avalanche danger.

Experts emphasize: such weather swings will create a huge burden on utilities and are extremely dangerous for people with chronic heart and vascular diseases. Citizens of all regions are urged to prepare in advance for any extreme scenarios.
