We need courageous people, not opportunists. Shvaiba - on personnel policy and initiative on the ground

The management initiative is the cornerstone of local economic and administrative activities. On the air of the talk show “Budni” on the YouTube channel “SBTV” and “Alfa Radio” said media expert Dmitry Shvayba, writes sb.by.

According to the expert, the Head of State, feeling the pulse of what is happening in the country, points to a slippage in the implementation of managerial decisions, behind which are lost time, people and missed opportunities.

- The President points out to all levels of management, from administrative to economic, that you need to be more courageous in terms of their management decisions and their timeliness. Very often, the average person on the ground is faced with a situation where managers, slipping, wasting time and not taking full responsibility, lead to an unfair situation or degradation of the process. This cannot be allowed because the situation is changing rapidly. Quick, timely and most importantly, competent, thoughtful decisions should give a primary socio-economic effect, form it and spread it to the whole country, said Dmitry Shvayba.

He stressed that the President is deeply immersed in problems on the ground and therefore is especially demanding of those who should solve these problems

- We need leaders, and we understand that a new generation of managers is coming. The President looks at them fatherly, it is felt. But they should be brave people, not opportunists. And we have to have a system that weeds out those who are not willing to take the initiative. Classical economic theory called land, labor, capital and entrepreneurial initiative the basis of production. Even with the means of production, without initiative, no effect can be achieved. This is an appeal to economists, and this topic needs to be developed.
