One of the ways of recycling tires reminded residents of the Tver region

Residents of the Tver region on the eve of the mass change of car tires were reminded that the tires are not part of solid municipal waste, TSAK reported.

Tire transportation is not covered by the tariff for the service of a regional operator for the management of MSW and is not paid by consumers on a monthly basis.

Tires can be handed over to a specialized point located in Tver on Bezhetsky highway (house 130, building 1). Tires are accepted only from individuals and no more than five pieces from one person.

The company reminds that the owner pays for the delivery of tires. Payment is made by non-cash method (by card), and the cost is calculated based on the actual weight of the tires. You need to have a passport or data of a confirmed account on “Public Services”.

Tires should be brought without metal discs and cleaned of dirt, oil and technical liquids. Before delivery, rubber should be sorted into categories (passenger, cargo or tires for special equipment). The studded rubber is handed over separately.

The company reminds that in Tver no longer work the former sites and nets for collecting car tires. Tires should not be left near conventional containers or at former collection points, as this is considered an unauthorized landfill.
