Promised Dronov update of water supply in Grigorov comes to the finish line

In the village of Grigorovo, a large-scale renewal of the water supply system continues, which was reported by the Governor of the Novgorod region Alexander Dronov. Experts plan to complete the work by the end of 2026. After commissioning the facility, residents will receive a stable and reliable supply of clean water, the press service of the Ministry of Housing and Energy of the Novgorod region reported.

The new water line runs through the streets of Road, Field and Veryazhskaya, covering a significant part of the private sector. The key engineering solution of the project is the ring scheme of water supply: it increases the reliability of the network and allows you to flexibly connect new homes, evenly distributing the load.

During construction, a gentle technology is used: pipes are laid by the method of horizontally directed drilling. This allows you to avoid large-scale earthworks and minimize inconvenience to residents.

The work is carried out by the contracting organization Progress LLC: the company started the project in November 2025. Now the facility performs a technological insertion into the existing water supply network. The already installed section is successfully kept under pressure - this is an important step in checking the tightness and readiness of the system. In the future, the contractor will restore landscaping to put the territory in order after construction.

The project is implemented within the framework of the federal direction “Modernization of municipal infrastructure” – it is included in the national project “Infrastructure for life”. The timing and significance of the work for the region was previously reported by the Governor of the Novgorod region Alexander Dronov in his Address to the Novgorod regional Duma:

“This year, the construction of water supply networks in the villages of Grigorovo and Syrkovo in the Novgorod district will be completed,” he said.

The work of the government under the leadership of Dronov allowed Novgorod region to become one of the leading regions in terms of the number of water disposal facilities modernized at the expense of the National Welfare Fund.
