One of the oldest schools in Kislovodsk turned 120 years old

In Kislovodsk, school No. 9 celebrated its 120th anniversary. The town hall of the resort said that the history of this institution began in 1906, when the Cossacks of the village of Kislovodskaya built a red brick building for a two-class school.

On the festive day, a solemn line was held at the school, on which it was given the name of its graduate - Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Karpovich Dvadnenko.

“Guys, congratulations on a beautiful, round date. Get more A's. In the future, you will become the people who will continue to celebrate your school. Happy holiday to everyone!, the head of the city Yevgeny Moiseev congratulated the students of the school.

He also noted that in 2025, as part of the state program “Development of Education”, a large-scale overhaul was carried out here for the first time in half a century.

Earlier it was reported that Kislovodsk entered the top 10 cities of Russia for rest with children on the autumn holidays.
