Hunting badger in the Vologda region will last until the end of October

Until October 31, the hunt for badgers in the Vologda region continues. The production limit this season is 6% of the total population – 244 individuals.

In addition to the hunting permit, you also need to pay a fee of 60 rubles per beast. During hunting, it is forbidden to dig holes, use traps with steel arcs, use long-barreled guns with a rifled barrel and rifled barrels of guns with a caliber of more than 8 mm.

In the Vologda region there are more than 4 thousand badgers. They live mainly in Cherepovets, Babaev and Velikoustyug districts.
