About 2,200 Minsk residents are planned to be called up this autumn for military service, reserve service

Sending conscripts to military service, service in the reserve will be held in the capital from October 22 to November 4, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti” in the military commissariat of Minsk.

In total, it is planned to call up about 2,200 Minsk citizens to the ranks of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations. The military oath in formations and military units of the Belarusian army will be renewed on November 21.

At present, the military commissariats conduct medical examination of future soldiers, study their personal files, determine the degree of fitness for military service. From September 15, representatives of military units will begin to select candidates. Recruitment commissions will also begin work.

In the organizations of DOSAAF in the direction of military commissariats trained young men in two specialties. As a result, about 180 conscripts will receive Category C rights, and 15 will become communications specialists. All of them after the completion of training will be sent for service in the formations and military units of the Belarusian army.
