About the development of tourism in the capital and the reconstruction of historical locations said the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev in an interview with the newspaper “Evening Minsk”, the correspondent of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

The tourist flow in Minsk is constantly growing, said V. Kukharev.

- We carefully study reviews in social networks, on websites and various forums to understand what needs to be improved in our city, and gradually implement current wishes, the head of the city said.

Industrial tourism is very popular. Today, more than 20 industrial enterprises of the capital are invited to walk through the workshops and exhibition pavilions, to observe the processes in detail. They were visited by about 70 thousand people in 2025.

In addition, the reconstruction of historical locations continues in the capital.

“The historical and cultural complex “Loshitsky” received a second wind,” said V. Kukharev. For example, the building where the distillery was located was dilapidated. During the reconstruction, specialists strengthened the four-storey building, restored the historical brickwork and attached two wings, where a hotel, a restaurant and a hall of solemn ceremonies were located. During the reconstruction of another building, the builders carefully inscribed the old masonry into the modern interior. There is a restaurant here today.

The Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee emphasized that “Loshitsky” is very popular among newlyweds. Now the chapel and water mill are being reconstructed, where the process of milling flour will be reproduced.

Another iconic location that is undergoing transformation is the Pishchalovsky Castle on the street. Volodarsky.

- It is planned to place a museum exposition, equip catering points, the head of the city said. Representatives of knight clubs are ready to arrange reconstructions of historical battles. One of the premises of the castle is planned to be set aside for the manufacture of all necessary paraphernalia.

Improvement is waiting for the territory of the Minsk Castle on the street. Nemige. In particular, there are plans to install a memorial sign dedicated to the history of the city.

Special attention in the development of the tourism industry in Minsk will be paid to the optimization of logistics chains.
