Dozens of volunteers were involved in the search.
A statement on the search for the missing 72-year-old resident of the village of Tagaika, Ternovsky district of the Voronezh region was received on October 17 at 12:44 – only two hours after she disappeared in the forest. The search party “LisaAlert” turned to her friend, who took the woman to the forest to collect mushrooms. After about 12 minutes, the pensioner disappeared from view among the trees and did not answer the call. Of particular concern were the health problems of the missing person.
Immediately after receiving the message, she joined the Prozon Group case. The participants contacted her friend and husband, clarified the details and circumstances of the disappearance, as well as the alleged route of her movement.
Even before the volunteers of Liza Alert arrived, the director of the forestry, Pavel Ivanovich, joined the search. He organized about 15 local residents, well oriented in the area. They checked the forest roads, drove cars through the accessible areas, and inspected part of the forest on foot. However, it was not possible to find the woman on their own. 18 search engines were also involved. Most of them traveled in parallel routes, combing the site with gals – moving forward, turning around, shifting and returning to avoid missing anything, and at the same time constantly working on the response.
The terrain was difficult: the forest is thick, overgrown, sometimes difficult to pass. Volunteers examined not only the usual trails and clearings, but also ditches, wetlands, lowlands - all the places where she could be or temporarily linger.
By 7 a.m., most of the search engines had finished their work and left their original headquarters. The remaining participants moved the headquarters closer to the forest and took on new tasks: they continued to analyze the information collected and check the possible directions of the missing person’s movement. It was at this moment that an unexpected turn took place: 7 cars were approaching the volunteers along the field - local residents joined the search.
At one point, the incredible happened: the missing woman herself came straight to the headquarters in a calm step. She was holding a red bucket. She came out of the forest completely unexpectedly - it caused great surprise and joy! The meeting was very emotional. Fortunately, the woman felt well and did not need medical attention.
