The experience of the elders want to use more actively in the development of Lipetsk

The head of Lipetsk Mikhail Shcherbakov held a meeting with the City Council of Elders. The participants discussed issues that concern residents, as well as proposals for the development of the city and interaction with the administration.

The Council includes Lip residents with extensive professional and life experience. Many of them have worked for the benefit of the city for many years, they are well aware of its features and problems of different districts. According to Shcherbakov, this experience is important to take into account when preparing decisions.

The meeting discussed the state of utilities, roads and bridges, the quality of water supply, the improvement of yards and the development of urban infrastructure. Special attention was paid to how to establish a more systematic work of the Council with relevant departments of the administration.

The parties agreed to identify areas in which such cooperation would be most useful and to work out proposals of the Council members separately.
