Orlovets will answer in court for illegal “Chernobyl” payments

In Malokhangelsk district, the prosecutor’s office sent a criminal case against a local resident to the court. The man is accused of fraud with social payments.

According to the press service of the Prosecutor’s office, the accused had a residence permit in the zone with preferential socio-economic status due to the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. However, he did not actually live there. Despite this, the man illegally issued and received more than 90 thousand rubles in compensation.

Now the criminal case will be considered by the magistrate.
