Orlovets stole an electric bike without a battery and hid it in the bushes

In the railway area of Orel, police uncovered the theft of an electric bicycle worth more than 25 thousand rubles. The incident was told in the press service of the regional MIA.

A local woman called the police. She said that she came by two-wheeled transport to work and parked it at the store, prudently removing the battery. However, this did not save the equipment from the thief: security cameras recorded how the unknown in the helmet simply took someone else’s bicycle.

Criminal investigation officers quickly established the identity of the kidnapper - he was Orlov 1986 year of birth. The detainee admitted everything and showed where he hid the prey: the bicycle was lying in the bushes in the yard of the house. The man hoped to keep it and use it in the future.

The stolen property was seized. On Orlovets opened a criminal case under article 158 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation. During the investigation, he was left under a subscription not to leave.
