The head of the peasant farm "SPARTAN-AGRO" in Molodechny district Igor Abramchik on the air of the TV channel STV told how he develops his business, developing new lands, reports sb.by.

In September 2024, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko visited the peasant farm “Spartan-Agro”, which is engaged in the cultivation of apples and agricultural products. The Belarusian leader met the head of the economy a little earlier, on a republican Saturday. It turned out that Igor Abramchik is not an agrarian by education, but an economist engineer who graduated from BSUIR, but still on the ground.
On May 5, 2026, at a meeting with the leadership of the Council of Ministers, the Belarusian leader considered the issue of joining the Orsha Meat Cannery to Dzerzhinsky. At the same time, Alexander Lukashenko drew attention to the reclaimed lands that belong to the Dzerzhinsky agricultural plant, and proposed an option for how they can be used - to lay a good garden. “This guy is very young, he knows how to do it. He would help, if necessary, the Head of State said, noting that such a decision would allow to fully provide Minsk with apples. In the end, apple orchard peasant farm "Spartan-Agro" laid on the exit from Minsk in the Logoy direction.
“It was probably my dream that I didn’t voice. I thought that we would finish the project here in Molodechnensky district, and then we would think about how and from what side to approach the right way to enter the capital market. But the President was ahead of our “wants”, and it so happened that now we will still be represented in Minsk, said Igor Abramchik.
According to Igor Abramchik, at the time of the President’s visit, in the same year, apple trees were laid. “They have already begun to bear fruit because two years have passed. And we are step by step increasing production. Today we have about 340 hectares of land under apple orchards. More than 200 hectares will be developed this autumn, he added.
Igor Abramchik noted that there are no problems with the land. “We are well aware that everything will be fine there. Yes, there may be some areas that are not gardenable. But everything turns out that this site is all right, it is suitable for growing apples. Therefore, in the autumn of this year, the first seedlings will be planted there, he explained.
For each hectare, we plan to spend up to 70 thousand rubles at the time of laying. But you also need to understand that to bring the garden to the point of zero, it will take another five years under the business plan to pay for it. Therefore, for these five years it is necessary to lay about 70 thousand rubles, added Igor Abramchik.
