On September 8, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 305, which updated the provisions of Directive No. 1 of March 11.

On September 8, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 305, which updated the provisions of Directive No. 1 of March 11, 2004 “On measures to strengthen public security and discipline”. Commenting on the updated document, the head of state stressed that the key emphasis in the new edition is on discipline, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency reports.
Everything and everything is discipline. The emphasis is on that. Discipline means that by the high level of last year we will produce more bread than usual. Technologically, we can do everything. The soldiers know how to fight, the peasants know how to cultivate bread. Why does it sometimes fail or even fail? Because it's not time, there's no discipline. There is discipline – it will be useful, Alexander Lukashenko said.
According to Decree No. 305, the new version of the Directive, taking into account modern risks and challenges, improved approaches to strengthening public security and proposed new mechanisms for maintaining it, including in the virtual environment.
The document regulates the priority areas of activity of state bodies, including:
- 1.protection of public order;
- 2.ensuring information security;
- 3.combating extremism and illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs;
- 4.control of external migration processes;
- 5.protection of the population and territories from emergency situations and civil defense;
- 6.road safety;
- 7.environmental safety, sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population and labor safety.
The organization and coordination of activities for the implementation of the Directive, as before, are entrusted to the government, regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee. Control over its implementation will be carried out by the prosecutor's office.
