Scammers again write to Minsk residents on behalf of the management of the Minsk City Executive Committee. This was reported in the Mingory Executive Committee, writes sb.by.

“In correspondence on behalf of one of the heads of the Minsk City Executive Committee, fraudsters warn about the upcoming inspection in the organization and report an alleged call from the KGC,” the Mingory Executive Committee said.

At first glance, accounts can look quite convincing - attackers use real photos of executives posted on the Internet.

The operatives of the units for combating cybercrime are checking these facts.

In the police Department Mingorispolkom warned:

“Do not trust messages just because of the name or photo of the sender. Pay attention to the number from which you write. If the information is in doubt, contact the organization by official number and clarify its reliability. Do not follow suspicious links, do not tell strangers personal and banking data and do not comply with the requirements of unknown persons.”.
