Fly more than 7000 kilometers for the sake of Belarusian tops and a meeting with a wild beaver? Nothing is impossible for a modern traveler. The completed active season in the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve brought not only growing statistics - about 50 thousand guests, or plus 10% compared to the same period in 2025, but also a wider geography of tourists. That's what sb says. by

Next to vacationers from Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Latvia, the United States and the United Kingdom this year, even a guest from distant Laos was noted in the Berezin Biosphere Reserve. Having independently found contacts of specialists, he wrote a letter in broken English, overcame half the world and... remained absolutely delighted with kayaking and walking through pristine swamps.
The secret of the reserve’s success is simple: they are able to combine wildlife with the brightest emotions. The most popular destinations are water and hiking routes, says Oleg Shafarovich, a leading marketing specialist of the Berezin Biosphere Reserve:
The hit of the season was the extreme 10-kilometer excursions “People in the Swamp”. If earlier this route was covered only occasionally, now 5-6 such excursions are held weekly. Wearing rubber boots, tourists willingly immerse themselves in the atmosphere of local tops, which, by the way, account for about 60% of the area of the entire reserve. Another trend this year is mythological tourism. Excursions on the ecotrope "In the Land of Myths" began to order 3-4 times more often. This best demonstrates that people are tired of the beach gloss, drawn to their roots, history and legends.
Horse walks are also in demand. The reserve has six horses ready to ride guests through the "fairytale" forest. By the way, right now is training, preparing to carry people, a young stallion named Bantic. A handsome bay suit - a bright representative of our Polesie breed and a direct descendant of ancient tarpans - was presented as a gift to the reserve on its centenary from the presidential stable. In the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve are sure that problems with the training of Bantika will not arise, because he is a smart stallion with a kind, compliant character.
