From the square and roads to the factory and school: what Milyaev saw in Suvorov

As part of a working visit to the Suvorov district this Friday, October 16, the Governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev inspected a number of objects. According to him, first of all, the visit was aimed at assessing the “Connection of Generations” square, which was implemented as part of the competition of small towns and historical settlements and was solemnly opened in the district center on this day.

Such a platform, beloved by the Suvorovites, because the square by and large existed there, and we met people who even planted these tall birches there when they were still seedlings - therefore, the "Connection of Generations". Today it has been transformed and, I think, has become a very comfortable place for rest, leisure and various kinds of entertainment for adults and children. We will continue this work, I can say in our plans for the construction of public spaces next year – we will do 26 spaces. 4 of them in the framework of the competition of all-Russian small towns and historical settlements (4 applications we submitted and all 4 we passed) — said the Governor Dmitry Milyaev.

The head of the region said that under the auspices of the visit, he and his team assessed the repair of the municipal section of the road on Tula Street and the Odoev-Suvorov road. Taking this opportunity, the governor noted that the repair of all transport arteries under the flag of the national project in the region has already ended physically. Only documentation remains for some of the objects.

“Therefore, of course, road construction is our priority. In this area, this is the arrangement of access roads to rural settlements - here the need is, of course, high. We are trying to solve this in the framework of the program “Our district”. There are many rural areas, of course, many needs. But as far as possible 9 primarily budgetary), we will respond to the requests of residents in this part, said Milyaev.

Along with this, the governor of the Tula region visited a local school, inspected the energy class, assessed the career guidance work in this educational institution, got acquainted with how the younger generation is taught to handle drones.

We have thought about equipping all our schools with equipment to have computer programs for piloting and, I think, we will purchase everything we need for this. Moreover, the topic is really important and you plan to include drone races in the competition program, said Dmitry Milyaev.

The next location for inspection was the confectionery factory, where in the Suvorov district make famous candy, which has become a recognizable local brand. At this enterprise of the food industry, the head of the region tried to prepare sweets.

“The company has not been operating for a single year, a fairly successful, stable team. And the products are quite popular despite all the economic difficulties, the governor stressed.

Not without inspection of wastewater treatment plants, the renovation of which, according to Milyaev, the responsible intend to complete in 2027. The complex of works in this part of the Governor called quite large. So this issue, in his view, requires additional attention.
