The grand opening of the military-patriotic game “Zarnitsa” among the pupils of military-patriotic clubs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place at the stele “Minsk is a hero city”, reports the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

The ceremony was a continuation of the ideological marathon “110 years in a single formation!” dedicated to the anniversary of the Belarusian police. Among the guests of honor are Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Dmitry Korzyuk, Head of St. Petersburg University of the Federal Penitentiary Service Alexander Votinov, official representative of military-patriotic clubs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Tour.

The participants laid flowers at the foot of the stele and honored the memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War with a minute of silence.

- It is gratifying to see not only the pupils of military-patriotic clubs of the police department, but also the guys from the military-industrial complex of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Border Committee. This proves once again: together, shoulder to shoulder, we are preparing patriots of our beloved country, future defenders of the Fatherland.
