Heating comes to Voronezh: heat is already in every fifth multi-storey building

In the capital of the Black Earth region, the connection of housing stock to the heat supply system is gaining pace. A day after the official start of the heating season, which was given on October 15, utilities reported on the first significant results.
According to the information provided by the city administration, by 16:00 on October 16, the coolant was supplied to 857 high-rise buildings out of 4694. Thus, at the moment, 18% of residential buildings in Voronezh are heated.
For comparison: on the day of the launch of the system, October 15, batteries warmed only in 327 homes, which was 7% of the total.
In parallel, work is underway to connect social infrastructure facilities. As of this morning, the situation is as follows:
Kindergartens – heat is served to 148 out of 207 institutions (71%);
Schools – heating appeared in 89 buildings out of 144 (62%);
Medical facilities – 57 of 152 facilities are connected (38%).
