How to decorate Tula in honor of the 85th anniversary of the defense of the city from the Nazis

Under the chairmanship of the head of the administration of Tula Ilya Bespalov, the organizing committee was held to prepare for the 85th anniversary of the city's defense - the meeting was attended by the head of Tula Alexei Erk, deputy heads of administration, representatives of specialized departments, territorial districts and law enforcement agencies.

According to the administration, the participants discussed honoring veterans, laying flowers at memorials, a solemn meeting for the 85th anniversary of defense and the 50th anniversary of awarding Thule the title of “Hero City”, as well as patriotic festivals, competitions, concerts, sports tournaments, lessons of courage and excursions for young Tulas.

The festival “Tula for centuries the weapon of the koval!”, the festival “City of Heroes” on the “Defense Frontier”, the film lecture hall “Tula is a hero city”, new museum expositions, excursion routes and online conference “Tula Frontier: 43 days that stopped the enemy”, as well as filming films about the defense of the city.

In addition, they discussed the state of memorials and military graves - the main work has already been completed, order has been restored at the facilities, the head of the administration instructed representatives of districts to monitor the cleanliness on the territory of memorable places.

“All planned events dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the heroic defense of Tula should be organized and held at a high level,” Bespalov concluded.

Earlier, “MK in Tula” reported that the administration of Tula approved the documentation for the planning of the territory near General Margelov Street. The decree was signed by the head of administration Ilya Bespalov.
