Passengers, about many hours of waiting which was reported by the media, left the airport of Krasnodar

All passengers waiting for border control after the arrival of international flights to Krasnodar airport completed the necessary procedures and left the air harbor. This was reported on October 21 in the official telegram channel of the airport.

Earlier, some publications and public wrote that about 60 people with registration in the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics could not leave the airport after passing passport control. According to eyewitnesses, people flew in from abroad and waited for additional checks, some more than 10 hours. They also complained about the lack of food and water and the lack of explanation of what was happening.

The airport clarified that border control is within the competence of authorized state services. At the same time, the staff of the air harbor assisted passengers while waiting: they installed coolers with drinking water, prepared tea, coffee and hot meals, and organized the duty of the medical service. By the time the airport report was published, there were no passengers waiting for the completion of border procedures in the arrival area of international flights.

Earlier, “MK on Kuban” reported that in Krasnodar opened traffic on the Fadeevsky overpass. It connects the city directly to the International Airport.
