To honor the memory of the prisoners and victims of the Berez-Kartuzskaya concentration camp, participants of motor rallies from Minsk and Brest arrived in Birch on the eve of the National Unity Day. Among them are representatives of public organizations and patriots of their country. Anastasia, Sergey and Alexandra Melnikova were traveling in a convoy from the capital. By the way, almost 3-year-old Mashenka already has a solid experience of participation in such events: she went to her first rally in 3 months.

“Patriots can only be raised by patriotic parents,” said Anastasia Melnikova. We love our country, we want to instill this feeling in our children. We always celebrate important dates for Belarus. National Unity Day is one of the main holidays. Belarusians have always been a single people, and their violent division was a real tragedy, and reunification became a national holiday. That's why we're here today.
Anastasia noted that the people’s reunification in 1939 was one of those important events that laid the foundation for our peaceful and prosperous life in the country, where it is pleasant to raise and develop children.
