Volgograd and Emergencies Ministry prepare joint projects for young people
In Volgograd, new formats of work with young people have been outlined.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Volgograd region, the Youth Council, together with the Department of Personnel, Educational Work and Professional Training of the Department, held a working meeting with the Director of the Avangard military sports camp and the Deputy Director of the Center for Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education of Youth “VOIN”.
The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation, focusing on the patriotic education of the younger generation, popularization of the culture of safety and familiarization of children with the work of the rescue department.
During the meeting, the guests were shown the infrastructure of the Avangard camp: residential and educational buildings, sports fields and areas for practical classes. Representatives of the “VOIN” center separately demonstrated the equipment and daily operation of the site – the participants examined the training complexes, training classes and sites where teenagers practice combat, tactical and medical training skills. This visual format made it possible to better understand the specifics of the centers and outline directions for joint projects.
Combining the resources of the parties will help to build activities in which theory is organically combined with practice. Children will not just get acquainted with the field of security – they will be able to work out applied skills and see how this knowledge helps to protect themselves and others.
