Pensioners over 80 years old in Novosibirsk will increase payments in November

In November, some Russian pensioners will begin to receive increased payments. The recalculation will affect citizens who turned 80 in October, as well as former coal workers and civil aviation flight crews. This was told by TASS Associate Professor of the Financial University under the government of the Russian Federation Igor Balynin.

For pensioners who have reached the age of 80, it is envisaged to increase the fixed payment to the old-age insurance pension twice. In addition, they will be charged an additional payment for care. All changes will be made automatically, so you do not need to apply to the relevant authorities.

The expert explained that the amount of increase depends on the amount of pension before recalculation. For example, if a person previously received 35.5 thousand rubles a month, after the increase, the payment can be 46,498.55 rubles. In this case, the increase will reach 30.98%.

Since the beginning of 2026, the fixed part of the old-age insurance pension is 9,584.69 rubles. The size of the allowance for care is set at 1,413.86 rubles.

Change of payments upon reaching 80 years is provided for recipients of old-age insurance pension. For former employees of the aviation and coal industry, there are separate rules for calculating additional payments.
