Penza took 17 thousand from someone else’s wallet at the entrance

In Penza, police officers completed the investigation of the criminal case of theft. The accused was a local resident born in 1986. His actions were qualified under part 1 of article 158 of the criminal code of Russia.

During the interrogation, the man told how it all happened. He left the house to buy food. On the evening of the same day, returning from the store, he approached the entrance. While pulling the keys out of the bag, he noticed a woman's purse hanging on the fence hook.

The man reached for his wallet and took it in his hands. He took out the money inside in the amount of 17,000 rubles and put it in his pocket. He hung the wallet back on the hook and went into the entrance. About an hour later, he decided to go back to the store to spend the stolen money.

The sanction of the article provides for a penalty of imprisonment for up to two years.
